LSU students standing up for the Unborn!
More people smiling about all the people they want to oppress.
More people smiling about all the people they want to have born into the world as God intended. Who is really being oppressive are the people that believe in abortion. That’s murder. I am pro-choice. I choose life. I’m not oppressing anyone by standing up for the unborn and having my views. It’s people that don’t care about killing babies and have no respect for life in any form that oppress.
1. it’s not murder, at most it’s justifiable homicide. (Justifiable homicide is permissible in cases where the perpetrator is causing great bodily harm. look it up.)
2. Your fairy godfather has no place in a debate on whether or not people should be required to let something use their body against their consent for 9 months.Stop bringing god into the debate.
3. Fetuses are not being oppressed. They have every right that born people have. This does not include the right to use another person’s body against their consent. They aren’t being aborted because of the fact they are fetuses. They are being aborted because they are using another persons body against their consent and this is an illegal thing to do. In order to be oppressed, you have to be being oppressed for the fact of who or what you are. That is not the case. Abortion isn’t about the right to kill a fetus or the right to a fetus’ death. It’s a bout the right to have no one else use your body without your consent.
4. Being pro life is oppressive because you are are specifically singling out people with uteruses and compelling them to let another person (or thing depending on your views of personhood) use their body against their consent, putting at risk their livelihood, health, emotional well being, etc, when we do not require other citizens to allow any part of their body to be used against their consent even to save the life of another human being. It is also making illegal the only form of self defense available to the pregnant person and the only way to take back control of their body using the defense that Life> Autonomy, when this is not the case in any other instance in which great bodily harm - especially something as dangerous as pregnancy- is being done unto another human being and there only defense is killing. That is oppressive. Placing different moral standards on people based on the contents of their uterus and placing a fetus on a pedestal of untouchability based on the fact that it is a fetus and therefore “pure innocent etc”, and all at the expense of people who have been historically oppressed and treated like shit and considered lesser human beings is oppression. Stopping something from using your body against your consent in the only possible way and in a way that is legally and morally permissible in all other cases is not oppressive.I am not an incubator.
Fetuses are not babies.
We do not force people to allow other people to use their body as a means to live and survive. You can not have two entities in one body, both with equal rights over that body. One’s rights must trump the others.
So fuck you. I am the sentient being with a life, a kid, a job, a family and people who need me. I’m the one who gets the rights, not some zygote that merely has the possibility of being a person.
1. If God intended for fetuses to be born, then we wouldn’t be able to abort them, now would we? A God that is not all-powerful is not a God by your own definition of Him.
2. By the same token, if God intends the child to form and be born into this world, then it shall happen. If He intends it to die before birth, then it shall happen. Any claim otherwise is heresy.
3. And who are you to say what God does and does not intend? Would you presume to be above Him? Would you blaspheme so harshly against your Creator? Sinners like you burn in Hell. May God have mercy on your soul.
4. Accidental pregnancy can ruin lives. A fourteen-year-old girl having a baby will most likely completely erase her future. One who cannot adequately care for a child, nor ensure a safe and prosperous future, should not be forced to push a terrible life onto a child. Having children should be planned and undertaken by those who can properly support a child.
